Wranglers to Face Grizzlies in First Round of Playoffs

After close playoffs battles throughout the ECHL’s Western conference, the Las Vegas Wranglers officially find themselves facing the Utah Grizzlies in the first round of the 2012 Kelly Cup Playoffs.

The best-of-five series begins Monday, April 2, on the road in Utah, and is as follows:

Game 1 on Monday, April 2, at 6:05 p.m. – Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah

Game 2 on Tuesday, April 3, at 6:05 p.m. – Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah

Game 3 on Thursday, April 5, at 7:05 p.m. – Orleans Arena

Game 4 on Friday, April 6, at 7:05 p.m. (if necessary) – Orleans Arena

Game 5 on Monday, April 9, at 7:05 p.m. (if necessary) – Orleans Arena

The Wranglers finished the regular season tonight with an overall record of 42-22-1-7, and are the third seed in the Western conference, giving the team home ice advantage. The Grizzlies ended the regular season with a record of 33-33-0-6, and hold the sixth seed. In nine games this season, Las Vegas went 2-2-0 against the Grizzlies when playing at home and 2-3-0 when playing them on the road.

Playoff tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through the Wranglers front office at (702) 471-PUCK (7825). Fans can purchase playoff strip tickets starting at $18 per game, or buy individual game tickets starting at $20. Tickets for kids ages 12 and under are just $8.
