Ira returns for his first full season behind the microphone as the play-by-play announcer for all home Wrangler games. A Las Vegas native, Ira organized and took part in broadcasts for hockey, football, and basketball while working for his college radio station at Colorado State University-Pueblo, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communications in 2006. More recently, Ira called the 2007 and 2008 Nevada High School Football State Championship. Ira first started his broadcasting career at the age of 11 reporting on local radio stations on the Las Vegas Thunder, Las Vegas Stars, UNLV Men’s Basketball, and the 37th Annual National Finals Rodeo.
